How OPLAUNCH works, what it costs, and the contracts behind it.
How it works
- Create. Pick a name, a ticker, a logo (stored on IPFS) and, if you want, some socials. Then choose a quote asset: ETH, OP or USDC.
- Launch. The factory deploys a fixed-supply ERC-20 (1,000,000,000 tokens). It puts the whole supply into a Uniswap v4 pool as one-sided liquidity, so nobody needs to seed the pool, and the LP is locked forever.
- Trade. Anyone can buy or sell straight away through Uniswap v4. Every swap goes through the OPLAUNCH hook, which takes the fee in the quote asset.
- Earn. Creators collect their share on the Claim page whenever they like.
Fees
| Launch fee | $1 paid in ETH, priced by the Chainlink ETH/USD feed. Any overpayment is refunded. |
| Trading fee | 1% of every swap, taken in the quote asset |
| → Creator | 80% of the fee (0.8% of volume) |
| → Platform | 20% of the fee (0.2% of volume) |
| Anti-sniper | For the first 20 seconds after launch the fee starts at 80% and drops in a straight line to 1%. Everything above the normal 1% goes to the platform. |
There is no referrer share. The LP fee is 0, so the hook fee is the only trading fee.

LP positions are owned by the locker and can never be withdrawn, because the hook blocks liquidity removal. Token metadata follows ERC-7572 (contractURI), and the hook emits a TokenMetadata event that indexers and wallets can read. For the API, see Builders.
